    Survive and Read

Primary tactics

Shell Defense

Cover safely when they blitz, then return fire.

Why it matters: You need to survive the first storm without panicking.

Step-Back Counter

Make them fall short, then return straight punches.

Why it matters: Blitzers often overextend.

Pivot Exit

Angle off when they rush in.

Why it matters: It forces them to reset.

Jab Interruption

Jab before they build momentum.

Why it matters: Jabs break rhythm and slow entries.

Clinch Reset

Clinch or frame if they crash inside.

Why it matters: It stops chaos and resets the fight.

Best weapons

Jab

When: Use early to interrupt the first rush.

Why it works: It breaks momentum.

Step-back Cross

When: Use as they leap forward.

Why it works: It makes them fall onto the shot.

Check Hook

When: Use when they rush with their head on centerline.

Why it works: It turns their pressure and creates an angle.

Shell Counter

When: Use after absorbing safely.

Why it works: It counters once their burst opens gaps.

Sparring constraints

  • Partner must blitz at random times
  • Fighter must stay composed
  • Fighter cannot back straight up
  • Fighter must counter after every rush
  • Fighter must pivot after every exchange
  • Round starts with opponent pressure
